Courses for Agniveer: Many steps are being taken by the Central Government to address the questions and fears arising against the recruitment of Agniveer in the Defense Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) for a period of four years. Where, in response to ‘What will Agniveer do after four years?’ the Central Forces (CAPFs); In the states of UP, Haryana, Uttarakhand, etc., priority is being announced for recruitment in police and allied departments, while resolving the doubts of Agniveer stopping his studies, the Education Ministry has also made announcements for the same.
12th certificate course for Agniveer
According to a tweet made by the Union Education Ministry on Wednesday, 22 June 2022, all such candidates who are recruited as Agniveer and they are 10th pass, then for them a special course will be started by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Also, the institute will help the Agniveers to get their 12th certificate. In this way, 10th pass Agniveer recruited in Army, Navy or Air Force will be able to get 12th equivalent level certificate through AIOS only during service.
Bachelor’s Degree Course for Agniveer
Similarly, the Ministry of Education also gave information through its tweet about Agniveer’s graduate degree course recruited in the three services. According to this, 10th pass Agniveer after completing 12th certificate from NIOS and 12th pass Agniveer will also be able to directly graduate while in service from the ‘Special Degree Course’ being offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Not only this, training done during the service of Agniveers will be recognized as credit for the bachelor’s degree. This means that Agniveer’s training will also be considered a part of his graduation.
Skill India Course for Agniveer
During the service of Agniveers for four years under the Agneepath scheme in the Defense Forces, preparations have been made to continue their education through formal but specially designed courses. Along with this, keeping in mind their market job readiness and latest advances, the government has also arranged to conduct various certificate courses under Skill India.
