NASA released 4 amazing pictures of the universe, this scene is unique for mankind

Four additional photos released on Tuesday reveal a more beautiful image of the universe. In one of these images, five galaxies were seen dancing, which are 29 million light-years away. One light year is equal to about 9.5 trillion kilometres.

Washington Agencies. The US space agency NASA on Tuesday released pictures taken with its new powerful telescope. These include the frothy blue and orange image of a dying star and dancing galaxies. Earlier on Monday, NASA released at the White House the first image taken of its $10 billion James Webb space telescope, which is full of galaxies and offers the deepest look ever taken of the universe. Four additional photos released on Tuesday reveal a more beautiful image of the universe. In one of these images, five galaxies were seen dancing, which are 29 million light-years away. One light year is equal to about 9.5 trillion kilometres.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said, ‘Each image is a new discovery and each will provide humanity with a view that we have never seen before.’ Before unveiling the first picture of the telescope on Monday, US President Joe Biden said , ‘The oldest documented light in the history of the universe over 13 billion years—I say again—13 billion years ago. It’s hard to fathom. Josef Eschbacher, director general of the European Space Agency, said, ‘We have really changed our understanding of the universe. Let us inform that the European and Canadian space agencies were also with NASA in the construction of this powerful telescope.

The pictures that have come in front of the world on Tuesday are-

— The Southern Ring Nebula, sometimes called the ‘Eight-blast’. It is about 2,500 light-years away. It shows a rising cloud of gas around a dying star. Two James Webb cameras have captured images of the planetary nebula, NGC 3132.

– Carina Nebula. It is one of the brightest stellar nurseries in the sky. It is approximately 7,600 light years away. (Photo Source: AP)

– The Five Galaxies in the Cosmic Dance (Stephan’s Quintet). It is 290 million light years away. Stephen’s Quintet was first observed 225 years ago in the constellation Pegasus. (Photo Source: AP)

– A blue giant planet called WASP-96b. It is 1,150 light years away. (Photo Source: AP)

Learn about the James Space Telescope

Let us tell you that the James Space Telescope is the most powerful telescope in the world, which was built jointly by NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency. It has a golden mirror, whose width is about 21.32 feet. This mirror is made by joining 18 hexagon pieces made of beryllium. Each piece is plated with 48.2 grams of gold, so that it acts as a reflector.

This space telescope is primarily designed for conducting infrared astronomy. It is the most powerful telescope ever built in space, its superior infrared resolution and sensitivity will enable it to see very old and very distant objects much fainter than the Hubble Space Telescope. It will help in the observation of the oldest stars and the formation of the first galaxies, and in the description of detailed atmospheric characteristics of potentially habitable exoplanets.
