Washington Agencies. The US space agency NASA on Tuesday released pictures taken with its new powerful telescope. These include the frothy blue and orange image of a dying star and dancing galaxies. Earlier on Monday, NASA released at the White House the first image taken of its $10 billion James Webb space telescope, which is full of galaxies and offers the deepest look ever taken of the universe. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said, ‘Each image is a new discovery and each will provide humanity with a view that we have never seen before.’ Before unveiling the first picture of the telescope on Monday, US President Joe Biden said , ‘The oldest documented light in the history of the universe over 13 billion years—I say again—13 billion years ago. It’s hard to fathom. Josef Eschbacher, director general of the European Space Agency, said, ‘We have really changed our understanding of the universe. Let us inform that the European and Canadian space agencies were also with NASA in the construction of this powerful telescope.
The pictures that have come in front of the world on Tuesday are-
— The Southern Ring Nebula, sometimes called the ‘Eight-blast’. It is about 2,500 light-years away. It shows a rising cloud of gas around a dying star. Two James Webb cameras have captured images of the planetary nebula, NGC 3132.

Let us tell you that the James Space Telescope is the most powerful telescope in the world, which was built jointly by NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency. It has a golden mirror, whose width is about 21.32 feet. This mirror is made by joining 18 hexagon pieces made of beryllium. Each piece is plated with 48.2 grams of gold, so that it acts as a reflector.
