Tata Steel’s profit dips 13% to Rs 7765 cr in Q1, revenue up 18.6%

According to the data released by the company for the first quarter, Tata Steel’s total revenue from operations has increased by 18.6 percent to Rs 63430 crore as compared to last year. In the first quarter of the year, the company’s consolidated EBITDA stood at 15047 crores, according to the data released by the company.

Tata Steel’s revenue rose to Rs 63,430 crore this year. According to the first quarter data, the company’s revenue from operations has registered a growth of 18.6 percent over the previous year. Tata Steel has reported in its first quarter results that its consolidated profit is Rs 7765 crore. The consolidated profit of the company has registered a decline of 12.8 percent as compared to the first quarter of last year.

According to the data released by the company for the first quarter, the company’s total revenue from operations has increased by 18.6 percent to Rs 63430 crore as compared to last year. The EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) margin has increased by 24 percent as compared to last year. The EBITDA per tonne of the company also increased by Rs 3780 to Rs 22717 crore during this period.

Commenting on Tata Steel’s results, the company’s CEO and MD TV Narendran has said that despite many hurdles, the company has performed well with improved margins.
